WPT partners with blockchain company FansUnite

Crypto-currencies have turned out to be a massive rage of late, especially in the last 12-18 months. One industry in which crypto-currencies are extremely popular is the poker industry, with many players diving into crypto businesses and many companies introducing crypto online poker rooms.

The most recent partnership among the two industries is that of the World Poker Tour (WPT) and blockchain company FansUnite Entertainment Inc. FansUnite is a blockchain sportsbook that specializes in crowdsourcing sports, while WPT is a leading poker entertainment and media brand.

FnasUnite is now an official partner of the WPT and the two will provide promotions throughout Europe and Asia. FansUnite will be displayed on ‘Plays of the Week’ on Heads Up Daily (HUD) on the Super Channel in Canada, via social media cross-promotion, various giveaways, on-site promotions, and contests held at WPT events in Europe and Asia.

FansUnite is also official partnered with Premier League team Leicester City, and there will be joint WPT and FansUnite tie-ups with this team as well. The blockchain techonology has been embraced by many WPT players and has helped grow the sport of poker across the world. This partnership should help do the same.
