WPT Day 16 – Veeravalli And Ghosh Shine Bright On The WPT Felts


WPT day 16 on Adda52 witnessed some action packed games and intense battles for the top spots. Naresh Veeravalli and Pradip Ghosh emerged victorious on day 16 as they defeated some top pros to grab winning titles. Here’s what went down on WPT day 16:

WPT Monday Feature 6 Max – ₹15 Lakh GTD

Monday Feature was a thrilling tourney. Out of the 421 entries, top 43 places were paid. The min-cash at this tourney stood at ₹8,250. Naresh Veeravalli aka ‘emperor457’ topped the table and added a handsome prize money of ₹3,72,000 to his bankroll.

Sandeep Bhatnagar aka ‘40chor’ finished second for ₹2,25,000. At the third spot, Gurpal Singh aka ‘TheUndecided777’ grabbed ₹1,57,500 in prize money.  Aditya Singh busted at the sixth spot for ₹5,25,000. Ashish Ahuja finished 10th for ₹18,750, Advait Rajguru finished at the 22nd spot for ₹11,250, Karann Dembla finished at the 27th place for ₹11,250; last week’s WPT Monday feature winner Dhiraj Lakhotia busted at the 28th place for ₹9,750. Two time IOPC leaderboard winner Bhanu Prakash busted at the 41st place for ₹8,250. Devrat Singh finished at the 43rd place for ₹8,250.

WPT Table for 6 – ₹7 Lakh GTD

This tournament was an action packed event. The tourney witnessed 316 entries battling it out for the top spots. The initial guarantee of this event was surpassed as the final prize pool stood at ₹7,90,000. The min-cash stood at ₹5,530, and the top 34 places were paid. Pradip Ghosh aka ‘Nit2Donk’ shipped the tournament and added ₹1,50,915 to his bankroll.

Peushup Eugene aka ‘peushup’ and mystery player ‘arushiagarwal’ finished at the runner-up and second runner-up spots for ₹1,36,772 and ₹1,16,398 respectively. Aditya Singh busted at the eighth spot for ₹19,750. Arjanveer Singh Chadha busted at the 23rd spot for ₹6,320.
