WPT day 12 on Adda52 was an action-packed day. The tournaments on day 12 witnessed some of the best poker pros in the country battling it out for the top spots. Among the biggest winners of the night were Gaurav Sood who defeated pros like Kunal Patni, Arsh Grover and Anant Purohit among others. Here’s what day 12 of WPT looked like:
The tournament witnessed some unexpected action. 525 entries slogged it out for the winning title. The initial guarantee was surpassed by a slim margin as the final prize pool stood at ₹26,25,000. A min-cash of ₹9,187 was paid to the top 55 players.
Shravan Chhabria aka ‘sweatmyass13’ grabbed the top spot and added ₹6,82,500 to his bankroll. Himanshu Arora was the runner-up who grabbed ₹3,87,188 in prize money. Rajesh Kumar aka ‘rajesh_asi’ cashed ₹2,69,063 as the second runner-up.

Sanish Chhabra finished at the 8th spot for ₹52,500. Advait Rajguru busted in the 9th place for ₹39,375. Ankit Bajaj finished 13th for ₹30,187. Gokul Raj busted at the 25th place for ₹14,438. WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant finished at the 27th spot for ₹14,438. Neel Joshi claimed the 29th spot for ₹13,125. Kritagya Sharma busted at the 38th spot for ₹11,823. IOPC January 2021 Masterminds and Millionaire Legends winner, Aniket Waghmare busted at the 42nd spot for ₹10,500. WPT Super Highroller winner Gaurav Sood finished at the 47th spot for ₹9,187. Vishnu Khandelwal busted 49th for ₹9,187 and Mohit Mehta finished 55th for ₹9,187.
The WPT Super Highroller was the biggest tournament of the night with ₹1 crore in guarantee. This ₹1,07,000 buy-in tournament witnessed 88 players battling it out for the top spots. The top 9 players took home a min-cash of ₹3,37,719. Gutshot’s January 2021 e-magazine cover star, Gaurav Sood shipped the tournament for a massive ₹32,60,295. Manoj Pentakota aka ‘thatsmymoney’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹16,24,507. Online reg Anant Purohit was the second runner-up who walked away with ₹12,97,984 in prize money.
Shardul Parthasarathi finished at the fourth spot for ₹10,37,091, while anonymous player ‘Aceleration’ finished fifth for ₹8,28,638. Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni finished sixth for ₹6,62,083. IOPC July 2021 Legends runner-up, Arsh Grover busted at the seventh spot for ₹5,29,006. Vaibhav Sharma busted at the eighth place for ₹4,22,677, while Vishnu Khandelwal finished ninth for ₹3,37,719.
The WPT Turbo 50 tournament surpassed its initial guarantee as the final prize pool stood at ₹2,345. The top 7 places were paid a min-cash of ₹100.
Mystery player ‘harshsingh006a’ won the tournament for ₹908. ‘Shando’ finished second for ₹445, while ‘Optimus112’ finished third for ₹330.
