Who Is Carl Froch? New CoinPoker Ambassador

Former British professional boxer Carl Froch took to social media to announce that he signed as CoinPoker’s Ambassador. The platform reposted the same on their social handles confirming the announcement. This comes a couple of months after CoinPoker announced they were the official regional partner of the Argentina National Football Team. Froch will join former Austrian football player and poker pro Mario Mosböck and British poker pro Patrick Leonard.

Carl Martin Froch, titled MBE has been voted Fighter of the Year 2012 by BoxRec and Sportsman of the Year in 2013 by British GQ Magazine started his professional boxing career in 2002 at the age of 24 with his first pro fight against Bethnal Green of London which Froch went on to win. From here on Froch went on to win many super-middleweight titles such as the British and Commonwealth boxing titles in 2004 and 2008. In between this he also claimed the Lonsdale Belt in 2006. Apart from these, he has titles such as the World Boxing Council (WBC), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Association (WBA) and in 2023 was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Froch who hails from Nottingham, England is a true sportsperson. In his younger days, he aspired to play for his local club Nottingham Forest. It is no surprise that someone inclined to sports could stay away from a game of skill. Froch represented 888Poker in 2012 and then went on to be the Ambassador for PartyPoker in 2015. In 2019 he clinched a High Roller event in PartyPoker’s Power Series for $12,040. In 2020 during a video interview with at the MILLIONS UK, Froch mentioned he once made it to the Final Table of an online tournament and realised he was good at poker and decided to take the sport up professionally.

Froch currently has $5,937 in total live earnings from poker with his best live cash of $5,508. He ranks 219,249th in the All-Time Money list (as per The Hendon Mob).
