Wednesday Roundup: Kaushik takes down Destiny on Spartan

After Anant Purohit emerging victorious last week, the latest champion was Ashish Kaushik aka ‘mmonas’ who topped a field of 643 entries and collected the enormous sum of prize money. Kaushik, an online grinder beat another well-known face in the online circuit, Arsh Grover aka ‘BigggTymeR’ in heads-up.

Online regular Anurag Srivastava aka ’13anurag’ added another feather to his poker cap by taking down G.O.A INR 20 Lakhs GTD on PokerBaazi. Last night’s tournament had a buy-in of INR 5,500 and Srivastava defeated one of the country’s pro poker players Akshay Nasa aka ‘sherlock52’ in heads-up for INR 3,70,000. Nasa eventually bagged INR 2,67,000 for finishing second.

Maverick

Last night’s Maverick INR 10 Lakhs GTD on Adda52 kicked-off at 8 pm for a buy-in of INR 2,500. Topping a field of 413 entries was an anonymous player ‘utsisharma’ shipping the tournament for INR 2,16,550 after beating ‘Carlo3004’ in heads-up who survived to take home INR 1,81,450.

Night on Stars

The chip graph of Night on Stars INR 5 Lakhs GTD hosted on PokerStars evidently shows the standout performance by well-known player in the online felts, Anuj Yadav, playing under the username ‘brockLesnar95’. Yadav emerged triumphantly and secured the first-place prize money of INR 1.14 Lakhs defeating his opponent ‘pratik07’ in heads-up, whereas the anonymous player walked out with INR 83,988.

The tournament guarantee was trounced to generate a prize pool of INR 6.10 Lakhs. StackUp INR 2.5 Lakhs GTD on 9stacks had its routine daily run yesterday at 7:59 pm, registering a field of 124 players with each paying a buy-in of INR 1,650 aiming to grab the prize money. Topping the field and claiming the day was ‘virat_kohli’ pocketing INR 69,030 after defeating Ankit Saxena aka ‘killing_spree’ in heads-up.
