Wednesday Round Up: Tanmay Benara Takes Home Destiny Title For 5.32 Lakh

This Wednesday night, poker players once again flocked to their favourite poker platforms to participate in the action. Spartan Poker held its massively successful Destiny tournament while Adda52 hosted its flagship Maverick. Let’s see what went down in the virtual felts.

Destiny – ₹20 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s Destiny attracted a total of 466 entries and had a buy-in of ₹5,500. The advertised prize pool was crushed which generated a final prize pool of ₹23,30,000. The top 40 places were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹13,980. It was Tanmay Benara aka ‘PlusEv’ that grabbed the top spot after making a deal between Digvijay Lamba aka ‘ziigmund.’ Benara pocketed ₹5,32,553 in prize money while Lamba took home ₹4,69,346 for his runner up finish.

“Destiny is one title every MTT player in India would want to get their hands on. Yesterday’s tournament was a great one! Many more to come,” said Benara on his win.

Maverick – ₹15 Lakh GTD

Adda52 hosted the Maverick tournament last night and had a total of 570 entries. The buy-in of the event was ₹2,750. Players who made it to the top 63 places finished in the money. The min-cash of the event stood at ₹3,750. In the end, player ‘MallaNi’  took home the winning title and a prize money worth ₹3,56,798. The runner up of the event was ‘nexus010’ who received ₹2,43,202 for his performance.

Night On Stars – ₹7 Lakh GTD 

PokerStars held its Night On Stars tournament and welcomed 222 total entries. The event had a buy-in of ₹2,750 and the top 27 places were paid. The min-cash of the event stood at ₹7,875. Poker player Lavesh Meena aka ‘lavesh786’ grabbed the tournament title and took home ₹1,35,259 in prize money. Meena made a deal with player ‘Cringing’ who became the runner with ₹1,03,937 as his reward.
