Vivek Ends Kabir’s Journey At The Main Event

LEVEL 20, BLINDS: 20K/40K, ANTE 40K

FTS 3.0 High Roller winner Vivek Singh marches ahead in the WPT Prime India 2023 Main Event (ME). The poker pro has knocked out a player as he aims to make it to the final table. Let us take a look at how this bust out hand unfolded.

Preflop action sees Abhinav Iyer open from the cutoff and finds callers in Singh (A ♣ Q ) and Kabir Khattar (K ♠ 2 ). Flop (T 5 ♣ K ♣) and turn (J   ) played out silently (Singh did not make a move with his straight was surprising!) and action got intense on the river of 2   . The WSOP bracelet bet 180; Singh and Khattar go all-in and that leads to Iyer folding. Singh had nothing left to do except point Khattar to the exit door. The eliminated player finished 19th for ₹3,70,000.

  • Khattar: K ♠ 2
  • Singh: A ♣ Q
  • Board: T 5 ♣ K ♣ J   2
