USOP 2023: Sahil Agarwal Adds To India’s Trophy Tally

India’s Sahil Agarwal has shipped the Single Day High Roller at the U Series of Poker (USOP) 2023. The Indian poker player nailed Event #39 for a sum of VND 680,000,000 (~ ₹23,34,233). 

Agarwal also ran deep in Event #20 Super High Roller and finished as runner-up for VND 1,940,000,000 (~ ₹66,60,455). Apart from Agarwal, Kunal Patni, Abhinav Iyer, and Arjanveer Singh Chadha also shipped top titles. 

Single Day High Roller – USOP 2023

The Single Day High Roller event had a buy-in of VND 44,000,000 (~USD 1,827) with the advertised guarantee of  VND 1,200,000,000 (~USD 49,823). 

The final prize pool stood at VND 1,978,800,000 (~USD 82,159) with total entries of 55 (34 unique). The Super High Roller tournament paid the top 8 places with the min-cash standing at VND 69,800,000.  The runner-up was Zheng Xiaosheng for VND 413,000,000 (~ USD 17,090).

Coming to Agarwal’s runner-up finish in Event #20, he battled a field of total 146 entries (87 unique). The buy-in at this event was VND 88,000,000 (~USD 3,721). 

The event’s initial guarantee was VND 2,000,000,000 (~USD 83,040) which was crushed massively and finally stood at VND 11,329,600,000  (~USD 470,694). This event paid the top 22 places and the min-cash was VND 123,600,000. 

The total entries in this Super High Roller event settled at 146 (87 unique). The tourney was finally shipped by Hoang Hai Nam. The winner took home a pay cheque of VND 3,070,000,000 ( ~USD 127,043).

When it comes to the Indian contingent grinding at the USOP 2023, we also had Gaurav Sood, Ankit Jajodia, Gautam Rohilla, Arsh Grover, Anuj Yadav, Amit Kaushik, Jasven Saigal, Zarvan Tumboli, among others grinding. 

Poker pro Vishal Ojha shipped his maiden live title in the form of USOP 2023 Main Event. The pro who’s also an online reg took down the coveted title like a boss.
