Tuesday Roundup: Vaibhav Sharma wins Endeavour on PokerBaazi


Two days into the week and the action continues. Last night came with bigger guarantees and the leading online platforms recorded a surge of players. The popular Tuesday marquee on Spartan PokerMega Stack INR 20 Lakhs GTD pulled out a total of 664 entrants after each one chipped in INR 3,300. The tournament collected a bigger prize pool of INR 20.82 Lakhs and the top 63 finishers strolled out securing a piece from the same. An anonymous player ‘Tokio999’ seized the first-place prize money after the players settled for a heads-up deal that saw Ankit Wadhawan aka ‘Shippament’ in the second place.

The Race

Spartan Poker is here with three feature tournaments and among them was The Race INR 7.5 Lakhs GTD at 9:30 pm which garnered 633 runners, enough to collect a bigger prize pool of INR 9.49 Lakhs. The top 55 finishers locked a min-cash. Coming out on top was Monday’s PokerBaazi The Bout winner Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ who defeated ‘HighHopes’ in heads-up boosting his poker bankroll.

Dominator

Spartan Poker‘s latest introduction, Dominator INR 6 Lakhs GTD was crowded with 297 entrants who paid INR 2,200 individually. Outlasting the field was online grinder Sanchit Pande aka ‘TheMadKing’ who eventually defeated Sanish Chhabra aka ‘Sanish21’ in heads-up to attach a valuable title to his poker career.

PPL #27 DST

The PokerBaazi Premier League is currently underway on PokerBaazi which kickstarted at 7 pm. A total of 479 hopefuls took their seats to hunt for the first-place prize money. Powering through the field was circuit grinder Gokul Raj aka ‘Nygma’ who captured INR 4.02 Lakhs in prize money. Raj defeated Rohan Soman aka ‘AnshAA’ in heads-up who settled in the runner-up position for INR 2.81 Lakhs.

One of the major attractions in PokerBaazi’s PPL, The Endeavour assured INR 50 Lakhs. This multi-flight tournament was crowded by 1000 plus entrants and Arjanveer Chadha resumed Day 2 with an overall chip lead. Conquering the event was a well-known circuit grinder Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘WakhraSwagNi’ who captured a hefty INR 8.76 Lakhs in prize money. Sharma railed out Danish Shaikh aka ‘pagla’ in heads-up who secured the second-place payout of INR 5.64 Lakhs.

PPL #29 Mini High Roller

A prominent face in the industry Sumit Sapra took down last night’s Mini High Roller INR 30 Lakhs GTD on PokerBaazi. Event #29 began at 8 pm registering 473 entrants enough to smash the advertised guarantee and create INR 35.47 Lakhs in prize pool. Sapra playing under the username ‘boronyx’ beat Dhaval Mudgal aka ‘Rehab77’ in heads-up for a handsome INR 7.13 Lakhs in prize money.

Adda52’s Tuesday flagship tourney Hitman INR 7.5 Lakhs GTD saw Anuj Yadav clinching the title last night. Recording a pretty good field which led to the generation of a higher prize pool, the top 30 places ended up earning a min-cash. Yadav aka ‘anuj25395’ conquered the field bagging INR 2.31 Lakhs in prize money after beating Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkif’ in heads-up who eventually secured INR 1.38 Lakhs.

Ashish Kumar aka ‘AK19’ rode past the field to triumph the StackUp Turbo INR 1 Lakh GTD on 9stacks last night. A total of 106 entrants joined the tournament after paying INR 1,100. Kumar defeated ‘Sharmaji’ in heads-up for INR 28,620 in prize money.
