Poker players, Monday could be a slow day but Tuesday took off at a faster pace. There were high guarantee tournaments in the lobby of most poker platforms. Players took every opportunity to maximize their wins. Here’s all the information you need to know about the tournaments that were held on Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerBaazi.
Mega Stack tournament on Spartan Poker was a 16 Lakh GTD tournament. There were 551 entries in total and the top 55 places were paid a min-cash of INR 8,099. The winner of this INR 3,300 buy-in event was Akshay Kadam aka ‘Jacks24.’ This player took home INR 3,20,682 in prize money.
On level #46 of the tournament, Kadam was leading with a chip stack. The hole cards were dealt as K♥ A♠ and 9♣ 9♦ to Kadam and ‘Paperboi’ respectively. On the pre flop level, ‘Paperboi’ raised the bet and went all-in. The community cards were revealed as 7♣ K♣ J♦ J♥3♣. Both the players had two pairs, while Kadam had a kicker K.
When asked about his victory, Kadam said. “It felt great. I was chip leading the tournament for about 90% of the time and came in with a big chip lead on the final table which helped me in winning the tournament. I stuck to my strategy and I would say this tournament was a smooth sail for me.”
The Mint on Adda52 broke all records last night as the advertised guarantee was crushed in a big way. The prize pool of INR 15 Lakh was crushed and the final prize pool stood at INR 16,17,019. Aniket Sharma aka ‘Whiterabbit’ shipped the tournament and cashed INR 3,96,165 in prize money.

The top 45 players were paid a min-cash of INR 7,291. One of the PokerBaazi pros Guruprasad Gupta aka ‘fish_calling’ won The Endeavour and took a pay cheque of INR 2,73,000.
