Triton Poker Series 2023 London: Phil Ivey, Jason Koon And Other Top Winners

Triton Poker Series 2023 London was nothing short of a poker spectacle for the world to watch. Poker G.O.A.T Phil Ivey added one more Triton Poker Series title to his credit. The 10-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, Phil Ivey shipped Event #17 $25k Short Deck Ante-Only for a sum of $280,500.

This was Ivey’s 5th Triton Poker Series title which means he is competing to be one of the top players with most Triton titles. But the competition is quite fierce given the fact that Jason Koon also won his 9th Triton Poker Series trophy.

Koon who is a regular at Triton, took down Event #16 $60k Short Deck Main Event for a mind-boggling sum of $828,000. The American pro also took home a brand new Jacob and Co x Triton watch.

Koon had previously shipped the Triton Main Event in May. The 37-year-old had nailed the $100,000 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event (Event #11) for a sum of $2,451,082. The latest short deck win by Koon is his fourth short deck title of the series. Koon’s total live earnings have now crossed the $50 Million mark. Koon also had something interesting to say about his short deck win.

He said, “There was a three or four-year span when I was off the grid playing the biggest short deck games in the world,” Koon told Triton poker reporters after coming out on top. “I don’t think that it’s just pure luck I’ve won four short-deck titles.”

Apart from Koon and Ivey, there are other players who topped the table and took home shiny new Triton Poker Series titles along with some heavy-duty prize money.
