Timofey ‘Trueteller’ Kuznetsov joins partypoker

This is becoming some kind of a trend since the start of the year, with partypoker ensuring that they add a new ambassador to their team every month. 2018 has seen quite a few Team Pros leaving PokerStars, while it has been the opposite for partypoker so far. The latter dares to dream of being the market leader one day, and they seem to be well on track so far.

The year began with Isaac Haxton coming on board as partypoker brand ambassador, with Philipp Gruissem soon following suit. It wasn’t long before Frenchman Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier joined the team, followed by Ludovic Geilich in July. The latest to then join the team in August was Bruno Fitoussi.

Now, adding to this long list of partypoker Team Pros is Timofey ‘Trueteller’ Kuznetsov, a Russian who is said to be one of the best online poker players in the world. He has close to $3 million in live poker cashes but all that came from just three cashes in live poker, including a 4th place finish in the 2015 Super High Roller Bowl where he won over $2 million.

The player comes to partypoker with bucket loads of experience in the online poker world, even though he is only 27 years old! He is set to help the company with software development, shaping schedules, evolving mixed games and other tasks. He was anonymous until 2015 playing under the name ‘Trueteller’ and amassing millions of dollars on the virtual felts.

“I am excited to join the partypoker team. It’s a dark age in poker, good sides must unite. I’ve spent all of my career in social silence, it feels like it might be a time to change that. I am looking forward to using my experience of online games to help shape the poker ecology at partypoker and get involved in the new software developments. I also have a keen interest in working with partypoker to develop better mixed games and I can’t wait to start working on this proposal,” the player said.
