#ThrowbackThursday: When Kushal Jain & Anish Patra cashed INR 15 lakh each

Two years ago, on this day, Anish Patra aka ‘Illusionist’ won the Two of a Kind (2.o.K) INR 15 Lakh GTD tournament. Following Patra, Kushal Jain aka ‘Kush044’ was the runner-up of this exciting tournament. Patra and Kushal won INR 15,11,125 respectively and they were followed by ‘realkidpoker92’ who took home INR 6,64,895 as it was a three-way deal.

Spartan Poker, one of the best poker platforms in the country is known for offering tournaments with massive guarantees. The Two of a Kind (2.0K) INR 15 Lakh GTD tournament was one of the signature tourneys which the platform used to host on the first Sunday of every month.

The Two of a Kind tournament that Jain had played itself has a story. His journey as a poker player began when he won a satellite freeroll on Spartan Poker. He converted his winnings from that freeroll to buy a ticket in the Two of a Kind tournament and ended up shipping almost INR 15 lakh in prize money.
