Tanay Hargunaney becomes second PokerDangal Team Pro

PokerDangal is one of the newer poker websites in India and they have been quickly growing since their inception. In March this year, they signed Abhineet Jain as their first Team Pro, a skilled and celebrated Indian PLO player, who plays online under the name ‘Pokemon13’.

Now, the company is very proud and happy to announce its second member of its Team Pro. Tanay Hargunaney became the latest member to join their team, with PokerDangal referring to him as one of the brightest and fastest growing super stars of the Indian poker industry. Tanay has made great strides in both live and online cash games and is a very respected PLO player. He has won several leaderboards and stack challenges across the various Indian poker websites.

Tanay is also a mentor to players who want to make it big in the online poker industry. His coaching classes are in great demand among newer players. As an engineer from IIT Patna, Tanay has successfully combined analytical abilities and logical reasoning with his poker game. After completing his Computer Science degree, Tanay joined Microsoft, but soon decided to quit his high-paying job to pursue his passion for poker. Now that shows how good he must be at poker!

Tanay joins Abhineet Jain in PokerDangal Team Pro, making it a team of PLO heavyweights. PokerDangal’s action on PLO is one of the best in the country and now the players can learn and play with the best as well. Gutshot caught up with this player to ask him his views on PokerDangal and joining the team of this fast-growing company.

We also asked him about his future plans in the game. He said, “We have a very exciting journey ahead with our players, sharing and growing together.
