SSS Day 2: Siddarth Singhvi triumphs PLO High Roller!

The most-awaited Spartan Super Series (SSS) is underway on Spartan Poker till 10 May promising INR 10+ Crore GTD! So far 14 tournaments have been concluded which means you still have time to grab the SSS title. Yesterday’s biggest tournament was PLO High Roller which was taken down by Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘PeterPunter’. Other 6 events also concluded successfully, so keep reading to find out the winners on SSS Day 2…

SSS #8 INR 2L GTD

The first tournament of SSS Day 2 was the lowest buy-in of INR 550 which pulled out 544 runners. This number generated a prize pool of INR 2.72 Lakhs which was distributed among the top 47 players earning a min-cash of INR 1,550. The event concluded after the players settled or a 4-way deal which eventually saw ‘predator0905’ earning the winner’s prize money while ‘Krish147’ ended up in the second place.

SSS #9 Saturday Hi-Fi INR 3.50L GTD

Online reg Paras Jain aka ‘AAKKQQJJ’ came out on top in the second tournament of the day after a 4-way deal. A total of 535 entries registered in the tournament for a buy-in of INR 880, generating a bigger prize pool of INR 4.28 Lakhs. Before the tournament concluded, the top 47 finishers strolled out of the competition with a min-cash of INR 2K. Jain clinched to the first-place cash prize and ‘harsh20’ banked the second-place payout.

SSS #10 Afternoon Showdown INR 5.50L GTD

Once again, the advertised guarantee crossed to become INR 6.44 Lakhs in the third event of the day. With a buy-in of INR 2,200 a total of 322 entries enrolled themselves out of which only 31 could earn a paycheck. Powering through the field was online grinder Priyank Kothari aka ‘Piko’ who defeated Sagar Choudhury aka ‘strangeplay’ in heads-up with his two pairs of JJ77.

SSS #11 INR 3L GTD

After chipping in INR 1,100 individually, 313 entries registered in the tournament creating a prize pool of INR 3.13 Lakhs. The top 27 players added at least INR 3k to their poker bankroll. Soon, in level 42 of the tournament, the players settled for a 3-way deal and ‘CYCLONE 1211’ was announced the official champion while others like ‘CH@MP’ ended up in 2^nd place and Suraj Rathi aka ‘OmgRATHIII’ in 3^rd place.

SSS #12 DareDevil INR 10L GTD

An anonymous player ‘anishsuri’ took down the DareDevil yesterday after outlasting ‘Pokerpro5553’ in heads-up. The guarantee was surpassed after the tournament attracted 305 entries for a buy-in of INR 4,400. A prize pool of INR 12.20 Lakhs was created to be distributed among the top 23 players. Ultimately, ‘anishsuri’ emerged victorious and clinched to the first-place prize money.

SSS #13 PLO High Roller INR 20L GTD

The biggest tourney of SSS Day 2 was PLO High Roller that enticed a total of 222 entries with each one paying INR 11,000. Finally, a bigger prize pool of INR 22.20 Lakhs was created to be distributed among the top 20 players receiving INR 29K as min-cash. Coming out on top was online reg Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘PeterPunter’ while ‘Nedstark_25’ ended up in the second place.

SSS #14 House Party INR 10L GTD

Riding past the field to grab the title was Mithun Mahesh aka ‘Intuitionnn’ who railed out ‘thejoker’ in heads-up with his straight over the opponent’s KK. This was the final tournament of SSS Day 2 and a total of 568 entries joined the field. A bigger prize pool of INR 11.36 Lakhs was created to be shared among the top 47 players who added INR 6,475 to their bankrolls.
