With most countries been lockdown, the poker fanatics have started grinding online.

The events in Asia have ramped up their offerings online and another leading brand to join the force is the Asian Poker Tour (APT). One of the prestigious names, APT has announced an online series from 29 April to 10 May 2020 after collaborating with Asia’s major online brand Natural8. The 12-day long tour will be open to each one of GG Network.

The APT 2020 Online Series will take place on the same date as of the APT Philippines 2020 series. The featured events are the eye-catching Main Event for a buy-in of $500, and the Championship Event for $800. Also, $400 would cost you to enter PLO Championships and Short Deck Championships. The full scheduled has not yet been released but players are expected to lineup as soon as the guarantees are declared. APT would award trophies to all winners including APT Player of the Series.

APT General Manager and Executive Tournament Director, Lloyd Fontillas stated, “As a land-based operator, I have put together a schedule mimicking our great tournament structures fit for our regular players with many different buy in options. Starting times will vary from event to event in order for players to concentrate on one event of their choice within the day. As for the online grinders that love to multi-table, Natural8 will still continue to host their great guaranteed daily events running beside the APT schedule.”

With major festivals shifting online, the World Poker Tour (WPT) also joined hands with partypoker and the series is scheduled to take place between 10 May to 26 May. The entire event promises a whopping $30 million in prize pool!
