Sriharsha Doddapaneni Finishes 9th In BSOP Bahamas ME

India’s only surviving player in Day 3 of $1,100 BSOP (Brazilian Series of Poker) Bahamas Main Event—Sriharsha Doddapaneni is eliminated in the 9th spot for a payday of $9,300 (₹7,58,345). The Indian pro was chip leading at the end of Day 2 with a stack of 1,087,000 chips.  

Brunno Botteon opened just before Sriharsha Doddapaneni stacked up to 175,000 from the late position. Botteon threw in 300,000 chips which the Indian pro reacted by shoving for 850,000. Botteon made the call immediately and both players revealed their cards.

The board ran out 2 ♣ 4 ♣ 5 ❤ 6 ♠ 8 ♣ and that was the endgame for the Doddapaneni who started Day 3 as the chip lead. The remaining seven players will continue their battle for the coveted Main Event title after the 75-minute dinner break is over. As per the updated chip counts Steven Fandozzi is chip leading with 3,100,000. The only female player in the game is Maria Konnikova with the second highest chip stack of 2,970,000. The event is being hosted at Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas. Talking about the $1,100 BSOP Bahamas Main Event, Doddapaneni was not the only Indian pro to feature in Day 2, Rajat Sharma also qualified to Day 2 but sadly busted at the 76th spot.

Talking about Doddapaneni’s World Series Of Poker (WSOP) online exploits, he has a total of $397,580 earnings. As for Doddapaneni’s earnings on Indian online poker platforms, he registered his largest cash of ₹38,75,918 at the IOPC #75 – The Millionaire Legends Day 2 (₹1.5 Crores GTD). The Indian pro’s lifetime earnings stand at ₹7.76 Crore (PokerGuru) and has 52 online titles to his credit. It would be interesting to see how many online and live titles Doddapaneni clinches in the coming time.
