Sreekanth Narayan Nails Spartan Poker’s Destiny For 7,22,800


Wednesday night witnessed some intense action on the virtual poker felts. Players like Sreekanth Narayan, Ankit Wadhawan, Debneil Mukherjee and Prabhat Paliya shipped tourneys, while several other notable names were seen finishing in the money. Let’s have a look at the action from  Wednesday night. 

Destiny – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s staple Destiny was a power-packed tourney. It had a player field of 556 entries, out of which the top 50 places finished in the money. The final prize pool stood at ₹27,80,000 which crushed the event’s advertised guarantee. The min-cash paid was ₹13,900.

Sreekanth Narayan aka ‘GL1DE’ topped the table and laughed his way to the bank with ₹7,22,800. Raghav Bansal aka ‘thatssosick’ finished second for ₹4,44,800.

Maverick – ₹15 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s Maverick was an action-packed event. The initial guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹17,70,000. The event witnessed 708 entries fighting hard. The top 72 places made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹3,540. Prabhat Paliya aka ‘prabhpal’ and mystery player ‘ajitesh’ ended the tourney in a deal taking home ₹3,71,422 and ₹3,27,728 respectively. 

Ashish Ahuja (5th, ₹88,500), Sanat Mehrotra (10th, ₹22,125), Aman Parakh (12th, ₹17,700), Siddharth Kadel (13th, ₹17,700), Sanish Chhabra (25th, ₹9,735), PokerBaazi The Pride winner Ankit Wadhawan (27th, ₹9,735), Gutshot’s January 2021 e-magazine cover star Gaurav Sood (33rd, ₹7,965), Ritwik Khanna (38th, ₹7,080), India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2021 Mastermind and Legends winner Aniket Waghmare (49th, ₹6,195), Vishnu Khandelwal (58th, ₹4,425), Arjanveer Singh Chadha (61st, ₹4,425), Mohit Mehta (65th, ₹3,540), The Endeavor winner Vishal Bajaj (68th, ₹3,540) also made it in the money at this event.

The Pride – ₹10 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Pride witnessed 510 entries out of which the top 63 places took home a slice of the prize pool. The advertised guarantee was crushed massively and the final prize pool stood at ₹17,85,000. The min-cash stood at ₹6,604.

FTS 3.0 Main Event winner Ankit Wadhawan aka ‘d00mtr00p3r’ shipped the tourney and added ₹3,47,000 to his bankroll. At the runner-up spot, Gaurav Bhandari aka ‘Zillastar’ walked away with ₹2,43,000.

Ritwik Khanna (11th, ₹25,520), Vishal Bajaj (12th, ₹25,520), Aman Parakh (14th, ₹20,710), Arjanveer Singh Chadha (19th, ₹15,530), Manish Lakhotia (20th, ₹15,530), Sanish Chhabra (26th, ₹12,320), Vishnu Khandelwal (27th, ₹12,320), Aditya Singh (33rd, ₹10,710), Ashish Munot (39th, ₹9,280), IOPC January 2021 Main Event winner Laksh Pal Singh (56th, ₹6,600), Adda 52 Game Ambassador, Kunal Patni (60th, ₹6,600) and Mohit Mehta (62nd, ₹6,600) were some players who finished in the money at this tourney.

Night on Stars – ₹9 Lakh GTD

As the Winter Series (WS) runs full steam on PokerStars, the WS – 10 (Night on Stars) event witnessed 409 entries battling it out for the top spots. The initial guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹10,22,500. The min-cash stood at ₹6,264.

Debneil Mukherjee aka ‘ChhotaD0N’ nailed the event and took home ₹1,84,131 in prize money. Suresh Kolli aka ‘Wabi-$abi’ finished second for ₹1,36,121.
