Spartan Poker hosted the Sunday Superstack which had a ₹35 Lakh guarantee and a buy-in of ₹11,000. The tournament welcomed a total of 397 entries comprising 186 unique players, 77 re-entries, and 134 re-buys. The final prize pool was ₹39,70,000 which crushed the advertised guarantee. The top 39 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹27,393. Siddharth Karia aka ‘SherRun’ shipped the event and took home a pay cheque of ₹7,95,985. The runner-up of Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ and he walked away with a prize money worth ₹5,29,201.
The Armageddon is another Spartan Poker tournament that was a crowd puller. The event had 212 unique players, 52 re-entries, and 183 re-buys. The initial guarantee was crushed and the final prize pool amount was ₹22,35,000. The ₹5,500 buy-in event had the top 39 places paid and the min-cash was ₹15,421. Bhushan Sohani aka ‘funchampion’ clinched the event and had a pay day of ₹3,40,026. The runner-up was Sanish Chhabra aka ‘Sanish21’ who went home with ₹3,17,838 in prize money.
The Battlezone on Spartan Poker had a ₹10 Lakh guarantee and a buy-in of ₹3,300. The event saw 144 unique players, 38 re-entries, and 143 re-buys. Players in the top 27 places finished in the money, and the min-cash was ₹10,000. BLITZPOKER player ‘mehhhh’ shipped the event for ₹1,97,901. The runner-up was Archit Agarwal aka ‘Archit810’ who walked away with ₹1,73,098.
The Sun Poker Nite #1 had a buy-in of ₹1,100 and a guarantee worth ₹10 Lakh. The event was crowded with 965 total entries, out of which 504 unique players, 152 were re-entries, and 309 were re-buys. In the end, the top 95 places were paid and the min-cash given was ₹2,950. The winner of the event was Siddharth Kadel aka ‘FLIPopotamus’ and he walked away with ₹1,90,800 in prize money. Player Akhil D S aka ‘SeaHound’ was the runner-up, and he took home ₹1,17,800 in winnings.
The Monsterstack on PokerBaazi had a guarantee of ₹25 Lakh and welcomed a total of 1,249 entries. From this 624 were unique players and 625 were re-entries. The tournament was a success, and the final prize pool crushed the original guarantee. The final amount was ₹37,47,000. The top 144 players were paid, and the min-cash stood at ₹4,870. Vivek Malik aka ‘vivek2222’ won the tournament and added ₹6,29,000 to his bankroll. Abhimanyu Mittal ‘AbhimanyuMittal’ was the runner-up and went home with ₹4,41,000.
The Mega Suits on Adda52 welcomed a total of 543 entries which was made up of 276 registered players and 267 re-entries. The prize pool reached ₹27,15,021 which crushed the advertised guarantee. The ₹5,500 buy-in event ended with the top 55 places paid and the min-cash was ₹12,218. The event was shipped by Gokul Raj aka ‘Niruha’ who won ₹5,20,355 in prize money. The runner-up was Sagar Choudhury aka ‘alwaysnutz’ who took home ₹3,88,694 in winnings.
The Adda52 Millions had a ₹25 Lakh guarantee which welcomed 249 total entries, out of which 147 were unique players and 102 were re-entries. The buy-in was worth ₹11,000, and the top 27 places were paid. The min-cash was ₹22,500. Shashank Jain aka ‘felter’ clinched the title and took home ₹6,50,000. Player ‘runyrules’ walked away with ₹3,87,500 in the runner-up position.
Adda52’s Sunday Showdown event had a ₹10 Lakh guarantee and buy-in was worth ₹2,500. The final prize pool was worth ₹10,37,253 which surpassed the initial guarantee. The top 47 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹7,314. Sudarshan More aka ‘Sudmore’ shipped the tournament and went home with a paycheque worth ₹1,53,128. The runner-up was G Mohan aka ‘mohan1969’ who walked away with ₹1,48,947.
PokerStars’ Sunday Special had a buy-in worth ₹5,500 and a guarantee of ₹15 Lakh. There were 146 unique players and 101 re-entries that participated in the event. The top 27 places were paid. The min-cash was ₹9,410. Vinay Verma aka ‘Keechad’ shipped the event and earned ₹1,50,290 in bounty money and ₹1,49,902 from the regular prize pool. The runner-up of was ‘hunger_pen’ who scored ₹3,750 in bounties and ₹1,49,901 from the regular prize pool.
The Sunday Highroller on PokerStars witnessed a total of 102 entries which consisted of 64 unique players and 38 re-entries. The ₹11,000 buy-in event surpassed its original guarantee and the final prize pool was ₹10,20,000. The top 13 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹25,245. Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator2018’ shipped the event and took home ₹2,35,043 in prize money. Vishal Bajaj aka ‘Vishalb22’ was the runner-up for ₹1,80,519.
