Celebrated poker player Daniel Negreanu has waded into the Russia—Ukraine war controversy and posted his opinion about it on his X (formerly Twitter account). The longish post has a detailed take on the ongoing controversy, which blew up further when the talks between the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and US President Donald Trump broke down in a very public manner. Negreanu has pointed out his thoughts about the current war and war in general.
The war has been an ongoing dispute between Russia and Ukraine since 2014, when Russia occupied and annexed Crimea, and escalated in 2022, when Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The incident has resulted in widespread and global condemnation, and several celebrities have voiced their opinions throughout the years. While it remains to be seen how the war ends, it has become a point of conversation in every circle.
