Saturday Round Up: Sanjeeta Kumari Nails Mukkamaar Title On Spartan Poker


The poker tournaments hosted on Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerStars witnessed players battling it out. Among the regular tournaments, a progressive knockout event was also hosted. Among the three tournaments listed below, two were a deal, namely Mukkamaar and Eliminator.  Keep reading further, to know what action unfolded yesterday.

Mukkamaar – ₹8 Lakh GTD

The Mukkamaar tournament on Spartan Poker was a ₹3,000 buy-in event. The tournament ended in a deal between Sanjeeta Kumari aka ‘Duchabdi’ and an anonymous player ‘madtatti.’ Sanjeeta Kumari took home ₹1,26,192 while the mystery player cashed ₹1,20,336 in prize money. The tournament had 274 entries in total. The top 27 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹6,645 was paid.

Excalibur – ₹5 Lakh GTD

Adda52 hosted their staple Excalibur event which was a ₹2,500 buy-in tourney. This event was shipped by Amrit Mishra aka ‘amrit1111’ who received a pay cheque of ₹2,69,685. The runner-up was Vishal Krishna aka ‘vikri’ who took home ₹1,52,994 in prize money. The tournament had 461 entries in total. The top 49 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹3,630. The advertised guarantee of this tournament was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹10,37,250.

PokerStars hosted the Eliminator, a ₹1,950 buy-in event. The tournament had 283 entries in total. The top 31 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹3,607 was paid. The event was a deal between Yash Shrivastava aka ‘hasyY@$#116’ and Prashant Pandagre aka ‘prashant03.’ Both the players thickened their bankrolls with ₹58,313. Shrivastava received ₹52,125 in bounty money while Pandagre took home ₹21,551 in bounty cash.
