Santhosh Suvarna Takes The 8th Place At 2023 Triton Poker SHRS Cyprus 25K Turbo

India’s Santhosh Suvarna has taken the eighth place at the 2023 Triton Poker SHRS Cyprus 25K Turbo event. Suvarna, who entered the final table with the shortest stack, managed to crawl through and take the eighth place for a pay cheque of $77,800 (~₹64,00,578).

This was Suvarn’s third FT in five days and the second consecutive one. After chipping up a couple of times and losing the blinds, Suvarna finally ran out of chips in a two-way all-in pot.

Niko Koop shoved his 2 Million all-in with Snowmen. Small blind Anatoly Zlotnikov called, while Suvarna made the all-in call with just 300K left in the big blind holding the iconic Doyle Brunson hand. Zlotnikov flipped A ♦ K ♦ and the board fanned out 7 ♠ K ♠ Q ♠ 2 ♠ Q ♦ . Koop took down the 4.5 Million worth pot with a flush, thus extending his tournament life. Suvarna’s deep run came in the event came to an end as he hit the exit door.
