Ritwik Khanna, Dhaval Mudgal Among Others Nail Top Spots

Thursday night on the virtual poker felts was an action-packed one with several top pros battling it out. While Puneet Mishra nailed the Asian Poker Tour (APT) 2022 Online Series Championship Event on PokerBaazi, others like Dhaval Mudgal, and Ritwik Khanna among others nailed other titles. Here’s what went down last night.

Ultron – ₹21 Lakh GTD

Ultron on Spartan Poker had 240 entries, 84 re-entries and 192 rebuys battling for a prize pool of ₹25,80,000. The min-cash stood at ₹14,706 and the top 47 places made it in the money. Akshay Kapoor aka ‘AustralianAccountant’ shipped the event for ₹5,02,842. At the runner-up spot, online reg Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker’ cashed ₹3,19,404.

Thursday Highroller – ₹25 Lakh GTD

This event gathered 90 players, 26 re-entries and 42 rebuys who crushed the initial guarantee to record a prize pool of ₹31,60,000. The top 17 places took home a portion of the prize pool and the min-cash stood at ₹49,612.

Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Fisherman1997’ took a pay cheque of ₹7,95,056. India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 15K Mystery Bounty winner Vivek Singh took home ₹5,37,200.

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s Godfather had 256 players and 238 re-entries, out of which the top 49 places finished in the money. The min-cash at this event stood at ₹13,750. Aman Parakh aka ‘karmapoker’ shipped the event and added ₹6,12,500 to his bankroll, while Hemant Padamwar aka ‘hemper’ finished second for ₹3,62,500.

APT #38 DST – ₹15 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s APT DST surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹18,33,000. Out of the 350 players and 261 re-entries, 72 players took home a min-cash of ₹5,680.

MPL Poker pro Dhaval Mudgal aka ‘Rehab77’ claimed the top spot for ₹3,46,000. Neeraj Kumar aka ‘SelfClaimedPro’ finished second for ₹2,43,000.

Highroller – ₹10 Lakh GTD

This event was shipped by National Poker Series (NPS) 2021 Main Event winner Mohammad Azhar aka ‘Bund_Blaster’ who pocketed ₹1,71,537. Mystery player ‘uvrv’ was the runner-up for  ₹1,70,422. The prize pool at this event stood at  ₹10,92,000 which slightly surpassed the event’s initial guarantee. The top 20 places out of the 87 entries and 69 re-entries made the money. A min-cash of  ₹15,260 was paid.
