Rishab Jain back at it again; ships SSS PLO Highroller

For all those who follow updates from The Spartan Poker or from GutshotMagazine.com, you would know about Rishab Jain who plays under the name ‘Titumama’ on Spartan. The player created headlines for recently winning a Mercedes Benz in Spartan’s BigWin promotion for the month of September.

It was a great achievement for Jain, as it would be for any poker player. Now, he’s back at it again, picking up another huge win on Spartan, this time shipping the Spartan Super Series (SSS) edition of the PLO Highroller last night. Primarily a cash player, Jain has hit the jackpot with this tournament victory!

SSS Event #15 PLO HighRoller INR 30 Lakh GTD was the final SSS tournament scheduled for yesterday and with the huge sum of money at stake, everyone knew it was not going to end before the sun came up this morning. The tournament had a buy-in of INR 25,000 and a massive prize pool of INR 30 lakh.

A total of 86 entries registered to the tournament with just the top 8 places being paid out (min-cash = INR 1,35,000). It was a star-studded Final Table and eventually, Jain managed to beat Ashish Munot aka ‘Bikini Babe’ in heads-up, taking away the whopping top prize of INR 8,92,500.

Munot is also a regular winner on Spartan and even in the live circuit. Just last week, he shipped the opening event of the Baadshah Live Tournament on the Casino Pride in Goa, for INR 2.25 lakh. Now with this runner-up finish in the PLO Highroller, Munot added a handsome amount of INR 5,62,500 to his poker bankroll.

Finishing in 3rd place was another champion player in Arjanveer Singh Chadha, who took away INR 4,42,500 for this effort, playing under the name ‘instrumental’. Gutshot caught up with Jain after this victory. He said, “PLO has been quite an action filled variant in my experience. High rollers are a special win because we get to play against a solid range of players. Ashish Munot was a resilient player especially on the final table. Glad that I managed to ship this event.”

However, none of these three players made an entry into the SSS Leaderboard at the end of Day 3:

The festivities will continue on The Spartan Poker tonight and you can keep watching GutshotMagazine.com for all updates on the SSS series.
