2021 WSOP Online: Renan Bruschi Wins His First Gold Bracelet After Nailing Event #14 for $1,50,327

World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online events continue to assist Brazilian poker players. Renan Carlos Bruschi became the fifth Brazilian to earn a WSOP bracelet this year after defeating Leonid Bilokur in a heads-up battle in Event #14 and taking home the top prize of $1,50,327. The tournament itself was a great success, attracting 2,639 entries and generating a whopping $1,253,525 prize pool.

A Brazilian gold medalist of 2021, Renan Carlos Bruschi now joins the ranks of Joao Simaao, Thiago Crema, Eduardo Pires, and Lucio Lima.

Here’s a short rundown of what happened in the event on friday.

The Latvian native, Andrejs Zukovs, played against Brazilian pro Rafael Furlanetto and the former was out in 9th place with $15,032.

Eugenio Pernia of Venezuela  defeated Australian poker pro David Wang and bagged 7th place, with the latter bowing out with $20,046.

Nikola Minkov, a poker pro from Bulgaria, defeated United States native Nicholas Maimone, and the latter was eliminated in 6th place with $35,648.

Irish pro Arthur Conan bowed out of the game with $63,391 against Brazilian pro Rafael Furlanetto, who finished 3rd with a whopping $84,534.

The Russian pro, Leonid ‘Mikleler’ Bilokur, who entered the final table with the smallest stack, managed to get to the top of the leaderboard with three players remaining. Bilokur finished second on the leaderboard and busted out of the game with $1,22,728.

Brazilian native Renan Bruschi grabbed the lead and topped the leaderboard, winning $1,50,327. He added another feather to his cap by earning his first career WSOP gold bracelet.
