Rajat Sharma Poses A Challenge As He Leads The Final Table For FTS 3.0 Challenger Event

The third edition of Final Table Series 3.0 (FTS 3.0) wrapped up its fifth day yesterday after some intense action. While players Mohita Bohra and Manish Ranjan shipped FTS #13 and #15 respectively, all eyes were on the featured tournament of the night: FTS #14 Challenger. The ₹40 Lakh guaranteed event experienced some high-octane action with 666 total entries participating in the tournament.

Friday Round Up: Kunal Patni, Guneet Kwatra & Rajat Sharma Clinched Top Titles

Rajat Sharma

After a long grind, the final table of the tournament was set with 42-year-old pro Rajat Sharma aka ‘NoPrisoners’ leading the way. Sharma has been playing since 2015 and since then he’s been able to earn more than ₹8 crore through online cashes alone. One of his biggest achievements is shipping the Millionaire Lite on Spartan Poker back in February 2020. With a chip stack of 30,87,052 chips and 77 big blinds (BB) on the final table (FT), Sharma does have a huge advantage when the FT resumes tonight.

Mystery player ‘shanky2507’ is right behind Sharma with the second highest chip stack. Armed with 24,22,324 chips and a 61 BB, ‘shanky2507’ is close on Sharma’s heels. While not much is known about this player, there’s one thing we do know for sure, that anything can happen on the FT.

Wednesday Round Up: Nitesh Katiyar Grabs Destiny Title On Spartan Poker For 5.62 Lakh

Nitesh Katiyar

The player with the third highest chip lead was Nitesh Katiyar aka ‘KATIYAR11’ with 17,02,903 chips and 43 BB. Katiyar has been storming the online felts and has recently shipped the Destiny title on Spartan Poker for ₹5.62 lakh. Being in a good chip lead position coupled with his recent performances, Katiyar has a good shot at the top.

Neel Joshi

Online reg Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm33’ made the FT in fourth position with a chip stack of 12,06,532. Back in April 2020, Joshi managed to ship the End Boss title on PokerBaazi for a mega ₹65 lakh and has most recently shipped the WPT Indian Mini Highroller title on Adda52. It will be interesting to see how he plays with a 30 BB lead.

Amit Saraff

Sitting in the fifth position is player Amit Saraff aka ‘Fishy27’ with 10,12,889 chips and 25 BB. This 36-year-old player has been playing since 2018 and has even shipped a few tournaments with his biggest cash grab being ₹4.4 lakh in first place. Saraff may be an underdog on the table, but he just might surprise us in the FT.

Deepesh Raka

The sixth chip lead position was taken by player Deepesh Raka aka ‘prince1993’ who is not a stranger to the final table action. He had an FT finish in a ₹3 crore guaranteed event on Adda53 and also clinched the Sunday Superstack on Spartan Poker for ₹7.29 Lakh in August 2021. Even though he started playing only in 2019, he will be a force to be reckoned with on the FT with a bag of 9,94,948 chips and 25 BB.

Harsh Dembla

Another online pro Harsh Dembla aka ‘aaja maal phuka’ is a regular on the virtual felts. Just last month, he shipped the WPT Friday Feature on Adda52 for ₹6.6 lakh and also won Adda52’s Mega Suits for ₹7.05 lakh back in September 2020. Dembla holds a chip stack of 9,86,598 chips and is in the seventh position with 25 BB.

Lastly, we have Jagat Bhandari aka ‘jk307’ entering the FT with the least amount of chips in the eighth position.  He shipped The Mint on Adda52 for ₹3.6 lakh and even finished fifth in the FTS Sunday Special event for ₹3.4 lakh. He has 5,74,754 chips and 14 BB to play with, but can he make it to the title spot?
