As Spartan Poker pro Zarvan Tumboli and Akshay Kapoor nailed top titles and several pros cashed at the ongoing World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia 2022, the virtual felts of the domestic platforms continued to rage on with some high-octane action with their tournaments.
Mega Stack on Spartan Poker saw 210 entries, 68 re-entries and 154 rebuys generating a final prize pool of ₹17,28,000. The top 39 places finished in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹11,923.
Anant Purohit aka ‘promaco’ and mystery player ‘ZindagiJuaHai’ ended the tourney in a deal as both players cashed ₹2,97,791, and ₹2,79,014, respectively.
This event crushed the initial guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹19,60,000. Out of the 99 players, 32 re-entries, and 65 rebuys, the top 17 placed took home a portion of the prize pool as the min-cash stood at ₹30,772.
Mohit Savargaonkar aka ‘OfcourseOfcourse’ shipped the event for the biggest paycheque of ₹4,93,136. Gautham Bansal aka ‘kaana.raja’ finished at the runner-up spot and cashed ₹3,33,200.
PokerBaazi had 365 players and 355 re-entries grinding at the Tuesday Prime event for the ₹21,60,000 prize pool. The top 90 places took home a min-cash of ₹4,750 from this event.
India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 15K Mystery Bounty winner Vivek Singh aka ‘Nutpeddling729’ nailed the top spot for ₹3,91,000, while Nitin Rawat aka ‘Gambler42’ had a payday of ₹2,74,000 at the runner-up spot.
Adda52’s staple The Mint had 121 entries and 194 re-entries, out of which the top 43 places took home a min-cash of ₹7,796. The final prize pool at this event stood at ₹14,17,501.
Manish Lakhotia aka ‘newkidpoker’ won this event and added ₹3,51,540 to his bankroll, while mystery player ‘ratansanu’ finished second for ₹2,12,625.
PokerStars’ Bounty Builder saw 79 entries and 71 re-entries battling it out. The top 17 places made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹8,641.
Vishal Bajaj aka ‘Vishalb22’ and ‘kabir2298’ ended the tourney in adeal and pocketed ₹95,048 and ₹95,047 respectively. Additionally, Bajaj cashed ₹1,36,470 in bouty money, while ‘kabir2298’ cashed ₹15,859.
