PPC Day 1: See Who Won Pocket Queens For Over 90K


The fourth edition of Pocket52’s Pocket Poker Championship (PPC) began on 20th June 2022 and promised players a whopping ₹1.3+ Crore in guarantee. The online felts of Pocket52 welcomed hundreds of players who were all eager, ready to grind, and win big. Day 1 of the series saw players participating in the Pocket Queens ₹5 Lakh GTD tournament and the ₹25 Lakh GTD Bracelet event. Here’s a full lowdown of last night’s action.

Aurora – ₹1.5 Lakh GTD

The first tournament of the day was the Aurora with its ₹1.5 Lakh guarantee. The event welcomed a total of 211 entries which was made up of 122 unique entries and 89 re-entries. The ₹880 buy-in tournament was a success as it surpassed its initial guarantee and generated ₹1,68,800 as final prize pool. The top 30 places were paid. The winner of the event took home ₹33,760 in prize money while the runner-up was ‘vivekthakur’ who walked away with ₹24,054 in his bankroll.

Solstice – ₹1 Lakh GTD

The Solstice tournament was the next one in line. The event had an advertised guarantee of ₹1 Lakh. The ₹660 buy-in event witnessed a total of 254 entries battle it out on the online felts. Out of these, 127 were unique players and 127 were re-entries. The guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool was ₹1,52,400. Players who made it to the top 38 places took home a piece of this prize pool. The winner had a payday of ₹28,194 and the runner-up walked away with ₹19,812. Pocket52 player ‘123shree’ finished 5th for ₹7,620.

The Bracelet Flight 1A – ₹25 Lakh GTD

The Bracelet event is the Main Event of the series and the Day 1A starting flight was held yesterday. The buy-in of this flight was ₹3,300. Out of the total entries that played in the event it was player ‘Punsaajat1999’ who bagged and tagged his way to Day 2 with a leading stack of 225,251 chips. Player ‘pokersage’ had the second highest chip stack of 195,952.

Pocket Queens – ₹5 Lakh GTD

The biggest tournament of the day was the ₹5 Lakh GTD Pocket Queens event which had a buy-in of ₹2,200. The event had a total of 242 entries, which were made of 152 unique players and 90 entries. In the end, the top 34 players made the money. It was ‘84##.757##_1424’ who shipped the event and walked away with ₹95,500 in prize money. The runner-up was ‘Jester’ who had a payday of ₹70,000. Pocket52 player ‘Monu12121’ finished 3rd for ₹45,000 while ‘SordyKrdbutworse’ finished 7th place for ₹15,000.

Sunburn – ₹2 Lakh GTD

The Sunburn event had a buy-in of ₹1,250 and the  tourney also surpassed its original guarantee of ₹2 Lakh. The final prize pool generated was ₹2,36,250. A total of 210 entries participated in the event which was made up of 126 unique players and 84 re-entries. The top 30 places in the event were paid. The winner of the tournament added ₹47,754 to his bankroll and the runner-up was Pocket52 player ‘user1654113800’ who went home with ₹34,024 in prize money. Player ‘lucky2Blucky’ finished in 3rd for ₹23,877.

Halos – ₹75,000 GTD

The Halos event had an advertised guarantee of ₹75,000 which was promptly crushed. A final prize pool of ₹1,07,500 was generated. The ₹550 buy-in event welcomed 215 total entries, out of which 134 were unique players and 84 were re-entries. The top 34 places were paid. The winner took home ₹20,532 in prize money while the runner-up walked away with ₹15,050. Pocket52 player ‘ROCKFORD’ finished 4th for ₹7,525 while ‘Saban7’finsihed finished 7th for ₹3,225. The eight place was taken by ‘Ghosh69’ who took home ₹3,225 in prize money.
