PokerRaj launches ‘The Countdown’ starting tomorrow

PokerRaj is breaking big in Indian online poker scenario, having hosted many exciting and high-stakes events and series on its platform previously. They hosted the Royal Race, the Xpansion Series, and many such promotional events and are doing pretty good in the industry for a new company like this. They also recently joined hands with the popular TV actress Anita Hassanandani, giving her the ‘Queen of Poker’ title.

They have just announced another action-packed promotion, called ‘The Countdown’. It will be a fest of giveaways celebrating the spirit of Christmas and New Year and boasts a total INR 4.5 Lakhs, with INR 68K in daily giveaways. The Countdown will begin from tomorrow on PokerRaj, 25^th December, and end on the last day of 2018, 31^st of December.

The 6-day festival will consist of the ‘Hands Race’ and the ‘Royal Reward Points (RRP) Race’. The Hands Race will rank players according to the number of hands they’ve played within the 6-day duration. The RRP Race will rank players on the how much RRP they accumulate in the time-span.

The Hand Race has two categories, Gold and Platinum. The gold category consists of only 25/50 and 50/100 blind cash tables and the Platinum will rank players who play only 100/200 and 200/400 blind cash tables. Players who play minimum of 150 active hands will be eligible for Platinum and players playing more than 200 active hands will be eligible for Gold. INR 8K and INR 12K will be awarded to the Gold and Platinum category winners respectively.

The RRP Race also has four categories, making a total of six categories in The Countdown. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum categories will feature in the RRP Race, and the blinds for these range from 2/4 to 200/400. The eligibility criteria for the categories also range from minimum 80 RRPs for Bronze to minimum 275 RRPs for Platinum. INR 6K, INR 10K, INR 14K and INR 18K are up for grabs for the RRP categories, in order.

In addition to these, there is also the Multiplier Bonus Leaderboard, where the player with the most RRPs will each receive extra INR 20K, INR 14K and INR 8K for their 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place finishes respectively.
