Tuesday Roundup: Mehta, Garg, Yadav Ship Events!


Tuesday was slightly better than slow-paced Monday, offering several flagships and crushing their prize pool guarantees. One of the head turning brand new event was Spartan Poker’s Velocity assuring INR 10 Lakhs GTD. And here is a quick recap of major action that place across the leading online platforms last night…

Velocity (Day 1A)

A latest member among Spartan Poker’s various offerings is INR 10 Lakhs GTD Velocity at a buy-in of INR 550 only! The 5-day tourney comprising of four starting flights kicked off last night and a total of 479 runners took their seat on Day 1A. After 3+ hours of long grind, it was ‘Robin Van Charsi’ who accumulated the largest stack of 229,927, leading to Day 2 with 38 survivors. Following the chip leader was Prakhar Kapoor aka ‘Prak27’ with 204,185 chips and ‘SimulationA1’ bagging 181,911 chips, rounding up the top three.

GPS #8 Mega Stack

The featured tournament of the day on Spartan Poker was the INR 22 Lakhs GTD GPS #8 Mega Stack. The INR 3,300 buy-in event logged in 827 entries producing INR 24.81 Lakhs in prize pool. The heads-up for the title came down to a battle between Anmol Mehta aka ‘Anzzzzz’ and Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘Nikka Zaildar’. The former ultimately prevailed to claim the top prize. Sharma was followed by Gokul Raj aka ‘Super Kings’ in the third place.

GPS #9 The Race

Coming out on top after a three-way deal was ‘Amitshivhare’ who claimed the biggest share while Arjanveer Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ settled in the second place followed by Jayjit Ray aka ‘David Blaine’ in the third place.

The Endeavour

PokerBaazi’s Tuesday flagship, The Endeavour, ran with INR 15 Lakhs prize pool guarantee last night. The tourney logged in an extended 440-entry field, striding comfortably past the advertised guarantee with a prize pool collection of INR 15.40 Lakhs. Ayush Garg aka ‘Proman502’ eliminated Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’, taking down the title for INR 3.1 Lakhs. Mahboobani earned INR 2.17 Lakhs for settling in the runner-up position.

 Tuesday MonsterStack

The INR 3 Lakhs GTD Tuesday MonsterStack on PokerBaazi attracted 157 entries, slightly surpassing the guarantee to create INR 3.14 Lakhs prize pool. The top 18 places were paid out with Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Ritwikkhanna’ capturing the Tuesday title along with INR 80,860 in first prize. Khanna knocked out Harrish Chaudary  aka ‘Realfc’ who went out in the runner-up position for INR 56,610, Aditya Kulkarni aka ‘adit11’ followed next, securing INR 36,420.

Hitman

Creating a bigger prize pool of INR 7.68 Lakhs, the top 24 players finished in the money. Yadav defeated ‘HaiTohHai’ in heads-up battle and clinched to the first-place cash prize of INR 2.10 Lakh. The latter earned INR 1.22 Lakhs along with 21 bounties.

Hexagram

Powering through the field was Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator’ who added INR 64,954 to his poker bankroll while his opponent Shamin Riza aka ‘IronSide’ ended up in the runner-up position for IRN 63,260.

Sixth Sense

PokerStars India’s Tuesday headlining tourney Sixth Sense INR 7 Lakhs GTD kicked off at 7:30 pm last night. Money reached the top 35 places with players securing INR 6.3K as min-cash. Climbing up the ladder after a three-way deal was ‘GutshotHaiBro’ who pocketed INR 1.04 Lakh in top prize while Prashanth Sekar aka ‘nemesis9961’ settled in the second place for INR 1.04 Lakh and Harsh Dembla aka ‘kakori kabab’ earned INR 92,451 for third place.
