Spartan Poker’s major attraction SSS Millionaire INR 1.5 Crore GTD kicked off at 12 pm yesterday hosting two starting flights. With a buy-in of INR 11,000 a pretty good was observed. The remaining survivors took their seats at 9:30 pm last night and continued to battle till 3:10 am. Outlasting the field was Parikshit Dhall aka ‘zapdos1311’ who defeated Sagar Patnaik aka ‘$tuTheKidUngar’ in heads-up and bagged the prestigious title along with a marvelous 7-digit score!
Riding past the field to claim his second title was Siddartha Khandelwal aka ‘siddyk20’ who took down the SSS #73 Electric Afternoon Hi-Fi INR 6L GTD on Spartan Poker at 8:12 pm. Last week the champ triumphed the Thursday feature SSS #54 Ultron which clearly wasn’t enough that he rode past a field of 538 entries last night. The final prize pool was distributed among the top 47 players earning INR 3,420 as min-cash. Khandelwal eliminated ‘Combat’ in heads-up and seized the first-place cash prize.
Sunday flagship tourney of Spartan Poker is SSS #75 Sunday SuperStack INR 50L GTD and yesterday garnered a massive field of 1,147 runners after each paid INR 5,500. The event collected a bigger prize pool of INR 57.35 Lakhs, smashing the displayed guarantee whose largest share was taken away by online reg Gaurav Sood aka ‘mozzie17’ while his opponent Rahul Kumar aka ‘sttoned’ banked the second-place cash prize.
Online grinder Mithun Mahesh aka ‘Intuitionnn’ took down Spartan Poker’s SSS #77 Reloaded INR 6 Lakhs GTD last night. With a buy-in of INR 1,100 the event attracted a total of 509 entries out of which only the top 47 places ended up earning a min-cash. Mahesh knocked out ‘Steel1’ in heads-up eventually grabbing the winner’s title along with the first-place prize money.
Surely miracles do happen overnight! The biggest ever online poker event in Indian history – EndBoss INR 5 Crore GTD promised INR 1 Crore to the ultimate winner. Day 1D of the multi-flight tourney saw another bunch of 244 survivors progressing to Day 2. The final flight was led by Dinesh Kukreja aka ‘htc170209’. Day 2 kicked off with the overall chip leader of 1B Deepak Meena aka ‘Drocks1’ with a towering stack of 5 Lakhs. The entire tournament attracted a giant field of 5,847 entries in 4 days creating a whopping prize pool of INR 5.85 Crores!
The battle began at 6 pm last evening and a total of 645 hunters took their seat to seize the biggest prize money of INR 1 Cr. It was at 1:42 am when online reg Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm33’ ended up in the runner-up position securing the second biggest online score in the country INR 65.02 Lakhs but the last man standing was Abhishek Maheshwari aka ‘Human_AI’ who turned his satty ticket to a phenomenal win and collected INR 1 Crore in prize money!
The Sunday feature on PokerBaazi taking place at 7 pm last night was BSS SuperStack INR 25 Lakhs GTD. The event pulled out 862 entries after each paid INR 5,500 which crushed the advertised guarantee to become an incredible INR 43.1 Lakh in prize pool. It was Madhav Gupta to run past the field and clinch to the title and INR 7.65 Lakhs up top. Ujjwal Narwal aka ‘Mr_Robot’ banked INR 5.37 Lakhs for his second-place finish.
Adda52’s Sunday flagship tourney Mega Suits INR 30 Lakhs GTD began at 8 pm sharp. A total prize pool of INR 40 Lakhs was collected after 814 runners entered paying INR 5,500. Finally, it was Shashank Jain aka ‘felter’ to race to the top to bank INR 7.89 Lakhs while Ankit Wadhawan aka ‘d00mtr00p3r’ secured the second position for INR 6.83 Lakhs.
With a buy-in of INR 5,500 a total of 406 hopefuls registered themselves to PokerStars’ Sunday Special PKO INR 20 Lakhs GTD. The top 71 players ended up earning at least INR 4,370, a share from the prize pool. Coming out on top was Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘you3betl4bet’ who defeated Shagun Jain aka ‘Sogani22’ in heads-up for INR 1.82 Lakhs while Jain secured INR 1.33 Lakhs for the runner-up position.
