India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) is almost coming to an end but poker players all over the country are grinding harder than ever. One of the big winners of the day, Siddharth Ojha, claimed his fourth IOPC January 2021 title. The day also saw popular players like Vishnu Khandelwal, Aayush Aggarwal clinch top spots. The day began with the INR 5.25 Lakhs GTD tournament which saw a turnout of 560 total entries. It had a buy-in of INR 770 and the top 47 places were paid a min-cash of INR 2,992. The big winner of the first tournament of Day 14 was Nilesh Mundada aka ‘TheRattleSnake’ who took home INR 1,02,322 in winnings after defeating Prakash Gupta aka ‘Robin Van Charsi’ who got INR 64,995 in prize money as a runner-up.
A total of 347 entries were on the playing field for the 6 Lakhs GTD tournament which had a buy-in of INR 1,650. The top 31 places were paid a min-cash of INR 5,280. The tournament came to a close after Siddharth Ojha aka ‘SidSparta21,’ player ‘poker_samrat,’ and ‘INTRUDER1800‘ entered into a three-way ICM deal. Accordingly, Ohja walked away with INR 1,03,448 while player ‘poker_samrat’ cashed INR 85,306.
The Monster Stack tournament crossed the initial prize pool and stood at INR 6,10,200. With a buy-in of 990, the total entrants for the tournament were 678. The top 55 places received a min-cash of INR 2,989. A deal was struck between player ‘LORDE’ and ‘neatvat’ after the flop was revealed. Out of the two, it was ‘LORDE’ that came in first and took home INR 1,02,782 in prize money. The runner-up ‘neatvat’ walked away with INR 90,650 in winnings.
The third flight of IOPC Main Event – The Crown witnessed a lot of action. With a buy-in of INR 11,000, the tournament saw player Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘bazzingaa’ with a finishing stack of 299,508. Player ‘D.Trump04’ came in second with a final chip stack of 257,749.
The Destiny tournament had a total of 982 entries that paid a buy-in of INR 5,500. The top 85 went home with a min-cash of INR 13,500. It was after the final hand that a three way deal was struck between Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator,’ Vikranth Varma aka ‘borntrouble,’ and Anujkumar Kodam aka ‘aatmaan108.’ Walking away with the largest chunk of prize money was Khandelwal with INR 9,69,414 and he was followed by Varma with INR 7,47,412 in winnings.
The second-last tournament of the day welcomed 743 entries on the playing field. The tournament had a buy-in of INR 1,650 and the final prize pool reached INR 11,14,500 crossing the initial guarantee. The top 63 places were paid a min-cash of INR 4,848. It was Ashish Kaushik aka ‘intrcptr101’ who got the top spot and took home winnings worth INR 2,15,655. Player ‘FreeFlow’ cashed INR 1,35,969 as the runner-up.
The day ended with the INR 10 Lakhs GTD Destiny IOPC Edition tournament which recorded a total of 422 entries and had a INR 2,200 buy-in. The top 39 entries were paid a min-cash of INR 6,900. Out of which, Aayush Aggarwal aka ‘thegoldenbullet’ grabbed the top spot and cashed INR 2,00,500. Following him was player ‘ImHighIshove’ who walked away with INR 1,33,300.
