Poker Dream Opens 2024 With First Stop Malaysia 

Another esteemed brand is ready to dazzle all the poker players in Asia with Poker Dream, which is all set to head to Malaysia for its first event in 2024. The new upcoming event by Poker Dream is all set to take place at Genting Highlands between 25th January to 5th February 2024.

This twelve-day poker festival will boast RM 4,500,000 (~USD 966,800) in guaranteed prize pool, with the Main Event having a GTD of RM 2,000,000 (~USD 429,700). 

It is worth noting that Poker Dream is also one of the only brands that is delivering live events in Malaysia. The upcoming poker fiesta will be the fourth visit to the country since 2022. The series is all set to have event buy-ins ranging from RM 700 (~USD 150) to RM 25,000 (~USD 5,365), with 28 trophies up for grabs.

Created by businessman and esteemed poker player Winfred Yu, Poker Dream was launched in 2022. It has created a name for itself, from recreational players to renowned Super High Rollers have participated in Poker Dream events. 

The inaugural event saw players of various levels come together at the brand’s Hoi An, Vietnam festival, which paid out over $3.8 Million in winnings, making it the richest of all the brands in the Asian circuit.

Poker Dream developed more innovative ways to make the game even more accessible in 2023, following a hot first season in 2022! Their inclusive approach to buy-ins makes the game more accessible to players with varied bankroll strengths, which helps the brand set apart its own identity.
