What is Age?

No, it’s not the age we use in our regular language to describe years. The term ‘age’ in poker is used to describe the person sitting immediately left of the dealer. In other words, age is the person in the small blind position. The term is an old term, which is not very commonly used today. However, it is likely to be used by players who know the game for a very long time.

Age is also known as ‘able,’ ‘edge,’ or ‘eldest hand.’
