What does the term ‘aces over’ mean in poker?

The poker term ‘aces over’ is often used in a phrase when referring to types of scenarios in a game of poker.

  1. It is used when referring to a two-pair hand where one pair consists of aces and the other pair consists of a different rank of cards.
  2. It is also used when referring to a full house containing three aces and a pair of any other rank. In this case, the term aces full is also used.
