Playtech Launches Casino Content with bet365 in New Jersey

On Thursday, the leading gambling technology provider Playtech launched its award-winning Casino content with long-term strategic partner, Bet365, in New Jersey. The agreement sees Bet365 go live with a selection of Playtech’s best-performing games including the company’s classics like, Great Blue, White King and Frankie Dettori’s Magic Seven. 

The launch came after Playtech received approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming back in June. Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, deemed the regulator’s approval as a milestone since the New Jersey gaming market has seen a rapid growth in the past few months. Back in May, ReelPlay teamed up with Scientific Games which enabled them to enter the Garden’s State gaming market. The launch was assisted with a transactional waiver, which allowed Playtech content to be launched by bet365. The company has plans to expand by including more partners in New Jersey and other US jurisdictions as well.

A Bet365 spokesperson, said: “We’re excited to partner with Playtech in order to expand our content offering to the US market. Given the range and caliber of Playtech’s content, being first to market it is a real differentiator for our platform. We look forward to developing upon our already solid partnership as we continue to grow our Casino offering.” Bet365 has been providing its sports book and online casino to customers in the state since it entered the New Jersey market in 2019.

According to the Playtech Chief Operating Officer, Shimon Akad stated that the company is very pleased to launch its software with one of their most trusted partners Bet365. He also hinted in exciting content and titles to be launched in the coming year. He added “This launch also serves as a prime example of our commitment to partnering with leading operators to bring leading software services and great content to new and growing markets.” This market launch is a significant moment for Playtech and its development in the United States.
