Pan Ruhua Inching Closer To The Chip Lead

Level 5, blinds 300/500, big blind ante 500

The heads-up action on table 28 saw the community cards read K♠ 2♦ Q♠ 4♥. Pan Ruhua checked and Kenji Harada fired back 17,000 into a pot worth around 50,000.

The ball was in Ruhua’s court. He tanked for a bit and then went all-in for 51,800. Harada wasn’t  happy to see his rival’s move but matched.

Ruhua had 2♠ 2♣ and ahead of Harada’s J♠ T♥. Only an ace card or a nine would get rid of Ruhua. 7♦ came on the river which translated into a double up for the Chinese player. With over 150,000 Ruhua is inching very close to the chip leader position towards the halfway mark of flight 1A.
