NPS 2022: Find Out More On The Super Highroller Final Table Stars

The National Poker Series (NPS) started with full gusto and has 252 medals up for grabs. The glorious poker series has put a massive prize pool of ₹18.5 Crore on the table for players to win from. While most of the events have concluded successfully, the top three NPS marquee events are yet to crown its winners. 

The NPS Super Highroller, Main Event, and Golden Rush tournaments were hosted on the virtual felts until the final tables (FT) were set. The tournaments are paused and will resume at PokerBaazi Live, in Goa. The NPS #69 Super Highroller offered ₹1 Crore in the prize pool and had 311 entries. The ₹33,000 buy-in event came down to a FT of six. The following players made it to the FT of this event:

Kartik Ved – 3,176,000 chips

Kartik Ved aka ‘TheInternetKid’ is an established name in the industry. With a total of $399,980 live earnings, it will be a treat to watch him grind on the felts of PokerBaazi LIVE. He was last seen grinding at the World Series Of Poker (WSOP), in events like The Closer, Mini Main event among others. Ved is the chip lead and is sure to spice up the game. Keep an eye on this one folks! 

Vishal Bajaj – 3,000,000

Vishal Bajaj aka ‘Vishzz’ is an online crusher. His IOPC and daily tournament wins are good enough to speak for his capabilities. Bajaj already made his presence felt on the virtual felts and with 3,000,000 chips in hand he could win at the NPS too. Bajaj last crushed the ₹50 Lakh and ₹10 Lakh No-Limit Hold’em tournaments hosted on PokerStars. Bajaj has nailed three Highroller titles in a short period of time.

Karan Pantola – 1,012,000

The third player in the list is Karan Pantola aka ‘Mahadevpoker,’ a fairly well-known player in the industry. He has tried his hand at quite a few NPS events, namely Main Event, the Value Mine, the Saturday Slam, and the Deepdive. With a chip stack of 1,012,000, we are excited to see the gameplay of this MBA graduate cum poker player. 

Ayush ‘Proman502’ Garg – 972,000

With 972,000 chips, Ayush Garg aka ‘Proman502’ sits in fourth position on. Some of his previous victories include the Adda52’s Godfather, PokerBaazi’s Endeavour, and Spartan Poker’s Destiny. Garg is a Godfather veteran as he nailed his fourth Godfather title recently. Would this player dominate in the live felts too? Only time will tell! 

Nishant Kumar – 735,000

Nishant Kumar aka ‘rektace’ is the second last player on the FT with a chip stack of 735,000. Kumar gave a shot to NPS Golden Rush, Main Event, Sprint, Sunday Sail, Slam Dunk, among others. He made it to the FT only in the Super Highroller event. Will this online reg climb up the ladder?

 Gokul Raj – 436,000

The last time we saw Gokul Raj aka ‘Nygma’ crush on live poker felts was in the India Poker Championship 2020 events. Although his online scores have been skyrocketing, in the NPS 2022 Super Highroller, Raj only has 436,000 chips at his disposal. Will the Millionaire winner claim the Super Highroller title with his killer poker moves? Among the players who have made it to the FT of this event, Ved and Raj are live poker veterans. This poker player will surely take advantage of his live poker experience, and how will his rivals tackle him? You will have to wait and watch.
