Spartan Poker pro Nikita Luther finished in the 109th position at the 2022 European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague Main Event (ME) – Day 2. She made it in the money and took a pay cheque of €4,660. The poker pro qualified for Day 2 of the highly-anticipated 2022 EPT Prague €1,100 Eureka ME from flight Day 1C which had a massive player field of 1,433 entries.
Being one of India’s top poker players, all eyes were on this World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner on Day 2 as she battled her rivals. At level 22 of the game, Luther opened the action by raising 40,000 from the cutoff. Her opponent, Diomedes Rimon then proceeded to three-bet her, putting 125,000 in the pot from the button.

After this, Luther went all-in for a total of 400,000 with hole cards A-9 which was quickly called by Rimon who was holding A-K. The board then opened to QTJ8J which gave Rimon a two pair with a K for kicker. This resulted in Luther busting out in the 109th position. Rimon chipped up with 385,000 and advanced to the next round.
With Luther’s exit, India’s hope for an EPT ME champion was lost. Despite this loss, the WSOP bracelet winner has once again shown her skill on the live felts. We hope to see more of this talented poker pro in the upcoming live poker events.
After a spectacular Day 2, only 66 players advanced to Day 3 of the 2022 EPT Prague ME. At the end of Day 2, Czech Republic’s Karol Konopka entered Day 3 as the chip leader with a bag of 4,725,000 chips. Those who progressed to Day 2 had secured a payday of at least €1,700.
