‘msv77’ Is The Electra Winner On Spartan Poker

Wednesday evening is a delight for all as the weekend is near and The Spartan Poker adds to the midweek fun by hosting the INR 7 Lac GTD Electra at 7:30 pm on this day. The INR 1,650 buy-in re-entry tournament saw a participation of 509 entries to make a prizepool of INR 7,63,500 going past the original guarantee. The prizepool was distributed to the top 47 places with a min-cash of INR 4,352. At the end of the tournament, it was ‘msv77’ who came out on top to outlast the field and take the first place prize of INR 1,21,918. ‘msv77’ defeated ‘ABD17’ in heads-up battle where ‘ABD17’ took home INR 1,21,409 for the second place finish

The tournament concluded with a deal between the heads-up players. As such, the last hand of the tournament came in Level #41 with blinds running 30,000-60,000-6,000. ABD17 had Jh 3s and msv77 was holding 9c 2d. After posting the pre-flop forced bets, ABD17 folded and msv77 won the hand

Speaking to GutshotMagazine.com, msv77 said, “Overall a surreal tournament experience. Apart from the winnings, the plethora of learnings taken across various tables through tons of hands was invaluable. It wasn’t a smooth ride by any means, especially the final table. Loads of good players. One of the key hands was being able to trap the chip leader with a flopped boat of Tens full of Aces when he rivered his ‘nut’ straight.”

As the third week is on for the Hot Tournament Leaderboard Challenge where players are all charged up to claim the top place prize of INR 5 Lakhs from the INR 15 Lakhs leaderboard. The first week saw Arsh Grover on top of the Hot Tournament leaderboard and the second week saw Vinay B on top while Grover moved down to the third position. The current leaderboard shows Vinay B maintaining his top place position 2,385 points with 20 tournaments played, following him is Mithun Mahesh at second place with 2,063 points and third place has Grover with 1,927 points. Top 10 places will be paid out in the INR 15 Lakhs leaderboard with min cash of INR 20,000.

Today The Spartan Poker will host The Flash tournament with INR 10 Lakhs GTD on a buy-in of INR 4,400 at 7:30 pm. So don’t miss this chance to make your mark on the leaderboard.
