MPL Poker Showdown Promises Extreme Poker Entertainment

Mobile Premier League (MPL) is taking the gaming world by storm and with poker now in the mix, the brand is bringing something exciting for all its players on the platform. MPL Poker is hosting its first-ever MPL Poker Showdown where 30 artists from areas like comedy, music, gaming, etc., will compete against each other in five episodes (rounds).

In the upcoming Showdown event, the first five poker rounds will be hosted for the 30 artists. The 6^th episode is where users on MPL Poker will be able to compete in this thrilling poker event. These top players will be selected via a leaderboard that will run alongside the showdown on the MPL app. The leaderboard will be live on the platform from 10^th January and will run till 30^th January. The MPL Poker Showdown will also be hosted by a well-known poker player, Dhaval Mudgal alongside two commentators: Nishant Tanwar and Suhani Shah.

How to compete in MPL Showdown?

Players will have to play on the MPL Poker cash tables and climb up the leaderboard ranks. Those who make it to the top 10 places on the leaderboard from every stake will have a chance to fight for a seat to the 6^th episode via a tournament. The top 6 tournament winners will then get a seat on MPL Poker Showdown.

MPL Poker Showdown Semi-Finals & Finale:

In the semifinals, two players from each of the previous six episodes will then battle against each other in the 7^th and 8^th episodes, respectively. The top three players who qualify in the 7^th and 8^th episodes will then advance to the finale of MPL Poker Showdown. The winner will then be crowned as the first-ever MPL Poker Showdown champion and take home a grand prize of ₹10 Lakh! The runner-up will also be awarded a prize money of ₹5 Lakh.
