ReCharge – ₹8 Lakh GTD

The Monday night ReCharge event on Spartan Poker was stormed by a total of 433 entries. The event started at 8 PM on Monday and at 3:32 AM in the morning. Many players were grinding hard to clinch the top spot. By the end of this event, the advertised prize pool was surpassed and the final prize pool was ₹8,66,000. The top 39 places were paid at this tourney. A min-cash of ₹5,975 was given to the players who made it in the money.

The number one spot was clinched by Ashutosh Kumar aka ‘trailblazera’ who took home the lion’s share of the prize pool. Kumar walked away with ₹1,73,633 in prize money and the ReCharge title. He defeated player Uttam Kumar Sinha aka ‘chinunew’ who came in second position and grabbed ₹1,15,437 in winnings.

The online felts of PokerBaazi were flooded with players who wanted to nail The Big Show event. The tourney witnessed at total of 289 entries. The ₹2,750 buy-in tournament is a Monday favourite on the platform and had a ₹7.5 Lakh guarantee. The top 36 places were paid a min-cash of ₹5,100.

The event was shipped by mystery player ‘vanillaice21’ who added ₹1,66,000 to his bankroll. Following him in runner-up position was player ‘winnerwinner’ who walked away with ₹1,16,000 in winnings.

Other players that made it in the money were, Honey Bijlani (12th, ₹12,080), Mohit Mehta (20th, ₹7,425), Ratul Steves (22nd, ₹6,600), and Myron Pereira (34th, ₹5,100).
