Mohit Bohra of Gujarat dominated at the finale of the National Poker Champion 2025. He won the title and took home the prize of ₹1 Crore. The event had some high-octane action in Goa. The final six have played some of the most exquisite poker to reach here, and the rest, as they say, history was created. Bohra has had a strong run in the series, with close to ₹40 Lakh throughout and a whopping five medals, including three gold and two silver.

The action was getting heated, even as all six players remained seated until the first break of the finale. The first player to see the rail was Wilson Yomso. Next was Vikhyat Alhawat, who shared a similar fate with Yomso, as both were eliminated by Bhanu Prakash.
Bhanu Prakash, the points leader of Day 1, was having a fantastic run, which ended at the hands of Sreekanth Narayan, resulting in the fourth exit in this high-profile game. Three players now vied for the grand prize of ₹1 Crore.
Next to go was Ankit Wadhawan, who has been playing an excellent game since he first landed in the NPC. Bohra’s Ace High was too much for Wadhawan’s 10 ♦ 9 ♣ with the board showing 3 ❤ Q ♦ 4 ❤ 2 ❤ Q ♠.
Shreekanth Narayan, who has had a stellar run at the NPS, what with being the points leader on Day 1 and the first player to win two back-to-back games at the NPC was the last player to go the rails without the prize money.
In the first round between the two finalists, Mohit Bohra made the first move with a strong starting hand: an Ace and a Queen. Sreekanth Narayan decided to stay in the game with a King and an Eight. The first three community cards revealed were an Eight, another Eight, and a King—an ideal combination for Narayan, giving him a very powerful hand. Choosing to conceal his strength, Narayan checked, passing the action back to Bohra. Bohra placed a small bet, and Narayan simply called, continuing the bluff. The following two cards changed little. Narayan checked both times, perhaps hoping Bohra would take another shot at betting. But Bohra played it safe and also checked, allowing the hand to go to a quiet finish.
