Mithun Mahesh Conquered PokerBaazi’s Summit For A Hefty 3,79,000 On Thursday

While Christmas is just a day away, poker players have already started celebrating. Well-known grinders Karan Radia, Ayush Garg, Mithun Mahesh, among others cashed big in events yesterday. Adda52’s Godfather event was shipped by Ayush Garg while Mithun Mahesh cashed a whopping sum in the Summit on PokerBaazi. Keep reading to know more about the tournaments that were hosted yesterday.

Trending Thursday – ₹16 Lakh GTD 

The Trending Thursday tournament on Spartan Poker had 355 entries in total. The top 31 players made it in the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in tournament and a min-cash of ₹15,620. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed, and the final prize pool stood at ₹17,75,000. The event was shipped by Karan Radia, aka ‘Majestic,’ who took home ₹3,75,413 in prize money. The runner-up in this event was Punya Behera, aka ‘madhumangal,’ who cashed ₹2,52,760 in prize money. 

The months of November and December have been exceptional for Radia as he has been on a winning spree. He started with shipping Adda52 Million Series on 1st November for  ₹6,89,000. He then went on to ship the Iron Man event on Adda52 for ₹2,16,000 (23rd November). At the start of this month, he even shipped Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack and added ₹2,21,031 to his bankroll.

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD 

Adda52’s Godfather tournament was shipped by Ayush Garg aka ‘lazy man.’ This player clinched the top spot among 450 total entries and had a payday of ₹5,49,926. The runner up in this ₹5,500 buy-in event was Harry Singh aka ‘harrys111’ who had a payday of ₹4,25,074. The top 49 players were paid a min-cash of ₹13,750 in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. 

Well known players from the industry, namely Aniket Waghmare (12th, ₹25,000), Siddhanth Kapoor (17th, ₹21,250), Guruprasad Gupta (19th, ₹21,250), Vinayak Bajaj (22nd, ₹18,750), Vishal Bajaj (25th, ₹16,250), Sanat Mehrotra (37th, ₹13,750), and Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram (48th, ₹13,750) among others tried to clinch this Godfather title.

The Summit – ₹15 Lakh GTD 

PokerBaazi’s Summit was conquered by Mithun Mahesh aka ‘thepokeraja’ who thickened his bankroll with ₹3,79,000. The runner up for in this ₹8,250 buy-in event was Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ who cashed a whopping ₹2,65,000 in prize money. The tournament had 209 entries in total and the top 24 entries made it in the money and were paid . Aa min-cash of ₹15,050. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool came upto ₹15,68,000.

Highroller – ₹10 Lakh GTD 

PokerStars has added several Highrollers tourneys to its schedule. The Thursday tournament had 127 entries in total. The ₹7,700 buy-in event was shipped by a mystery player who goes by the moniker ‘Madhavkad07’ and cashed ₹2,19,185 in prize money. The top 15 players made it in the money and a. A min-cash of ₹18,793 was paid. The runner-up in this event was Gutshot’s January 2021 cover star Gaurav Sood aka ‘3betPanda’, who took home a payday of ₹1,68,902.  Sood previously had a deep run on Adda52’s Rocking Ahuja and cashed ₹4,93,214 in prize money. In the previous month, Sood also shipped the DOPT Highroller. He cashed a massive ₹13,50,000 in this event.
