Match Poker To Launch App In A Bid To ‘Sportify’ Poker

Match Poker in a bid to ‘sportify’ the game of poker will be launching Match Poker Online—an app on 15th February 2022 (Asia and Australia time zones). Match Poker Online will enable players from across the world to play poker in a unique format. The new poker app aims to transform the game and allow players to compare their poker skills with their competitors from across the globe. 

When you are grinding, it’s not just your rivals on the same table, but players across the world could be playing in the same seat on a different table. Such players will be getting the same hole cards; same cards on the flop, turn and river. 

Match Poker Online is unique in a way that it lets you compare the outcomes of the hands played with respect to the points scored with other players who’ve played the same hands. The app will come packed with features, excellent graphics,  statistics, seamless gameplay and more. 

The Match Poker app will have all the data needed, so if you want to check which players are better at their game, you can take a look at the data and find answers. If you wish to compare your own game against a game played by your friends, even that is possible, which is quite similar to the fantasy sports competitions.

Here’s what you can expect from Match Poker Online

• Post the app’s launch, the year will be divided into seasons with players fighting for top rankings and a spot on their respective country’s national team.
• Match Poker will host national events across different ranking levels. These events will be overseen by the International Federation of Match Poker (IFMP), which hopes to see Match Poker become an Olympic sport.
• Match Poker Online will have hand histories of the hands played on its app. This will allow players to leverage the Match Poker database.
