MadOverPoker announces Indian Bounty Championship

MadOverPoker is among the Indian online poker websites known to host exciting tournaments all around the year. They have been in the game for more than a year now and have gradually built up the trust and experience that is essential to run the show.

In a recent development, MadOverPoker announced a very novel tournament series, a series which has never been hosted on any poker website in India. The series is dubbed the ‘Indian Bounty Championship (IBC)’. The word ‘bounty’ must have given you an indication of what kind of a series this is. The popular bounty format series will surely take you to the dangerous deserts of the Mid-west U.S. where outlaws and ruffians abound knock each other out in bloody stand-offs.

The series will run between 7-9 December. The 3-day affair will feature 8 events with buy-ins ranging from INR 825 to INR 3,150. The series will work like this: There is a starting bounty amount, different for all events, on a player’s head which you can see by hovering on the player’s avatar. When a player knocks someone out, 50% of his bounty will go to the eliminator as cash prize and the remaining 50% will be added on the eliminator’s head.

Additionally, MadOverPoker has created a bounty leaderboard for the series where players can test their consistency throughout the series. The leaderboard will have a guaranteed prize pool of INR 2 Lakhs (INR 50K for 1st place), making the combined guaranteed prize pool of the series to INR 15 Lakhs. The leaderboard will be a little different from other traditional leaderboards, as it will rank players according to the number of knock-outs they have delivered. The leaderboard pay-outs will be bonus money.

Players who deposit INR 25K (using code “IBCALL”) and above will also get free tickets to all the 8 events. The highlight of the series will be the INR 4 Lakhs GTD Main Event, which takes place on the final day and willl have a buy-in of INR 3,150.
