Last Lady Standing Kanchan Sharma’s Deep Run Comes To An End

The last lady standing at the WPT Prime India 2023 Main Event, Kanchan Sharma, has been eliminated. Sharma’s exit means there are no more female players in the field. Sharma, who grabbed her first-ever WPT title by taking down the Ladies NLH event here yesterday, has exited the tournament at the 27th spot.

After resuming Day 2 with a stack of 161,000 chips, Sharma enjoyed a great run in the Main Event. The day started with 108 players, and Sharma managed to run deep till the 22nd spot. She walks away with an addition of ₹2,64,000
to her bankroll from the Main Event. 

The Agra-girl jammed her 580K in response to Sidharth’s 50K raise. The latter called and flipped pocket kings. Sharma showed pocket sevens and the board brought Q   5 ♣ A   T   8 ♦ .
