Vegas Gambler Dragged Out of Casino for Not Wearing a Mask

Who knew that not wearing a mask is an offense. With the ongoing pandemic and the thousands of lives that the coronavirus has claimed, we are left with nothing but strict social distancing norms and safety measures to save oneself. And casinos across the globe have taken extreme precautions to keep the virus at bay.

A gambler from Las Vegas had to be forcefully dragged out of the famous 4 Queens casino since he was not wearing a mask. The four security guards, all of them wearing masks had to use handcuffs to escort the man outside. The casino has implemented strict rules during the time of this pandemic due to hundreds of visitors each day. As per the footage available, the gambler was not co-operating with the escorts. Onlookers watched, while the man tried to restrain himself who was heard shouting and trying to defend his act.  The man also tried to ask for help, but onlookers did not come to his rescue.  He reportedly held onto the stair banister but to no avail as the guards handcuffed him.

The gambler had breached Las Vegas’s strict coronavirus rules which were put into practice from 26 June. During the beginning of this week, Nevada reported more than 900 new coronavirus cases. The state has recorded more than 51K positive cases in all. It was reported last week that the US recorded nearly 25K coronavirus deaths in July and cases doubled in at least 18 states.

Middle America has become the new hotspot. Cases doubled in Nevada – as well as Alabama,  Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia and so on according to the tally. As per the pandemic rules, gathering cannot exceed more than 50 people. The country has recorded more than 77K cases on 16 July and has broken all global records. The epicenter has now been shifting from Midwest states and new infections and deaths have been decline.  Globally, all the nations are looking forward to a time when the pandemic will be brought under control.
