Kristen was a big fan of Poker After Dark, a poker show on NBC where she particularly loved Jennifer Hartman, who also became a primary inspiration for Kristen to become a poker player. Bicknell’s first big win came at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in 2013, where she won the $1,000 Ladies No Limit Hold’em Championship to earn her first gold bracelet alongside a pay cheque of $173,922.

She also won the WSOP $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em bounty event in 2016 to win her second bracelet and walk away with $290,768 in winnings. She dominated live poker competitions In 2018 and 2019 before returning to online tournaments in 2020, citing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bicknell won her third WSOP bracelet by shipping the $2,500 NLHE 6-Handed in 2020 to earn a prize of $356,412. It is also worth noting that she was amongst the top three most successful female poker players in 2022.

It was the same year that Bicknell tied the knot with Alex Foxen, another professional poker player and the duo became the power couple in poker! She also became the first female player to win a fourth WSOP bracelet by shipping the WSOP Online $888 No Limit Hold’em Crazy 8’s event in 2023.
