Being self-assured is one thing and being arrogant is another! The lines between the two appeared blurred to Justin Bonomo when he sat down to grind in Day 2 of the $50K High Roller at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Bonomo who is number one on the All Time Money List was talking to PokerOrg and that’s when the pro dropped some huge bombs. What’s he done? Keep reading further to know how Bonomo took a brutal dig at the other players on his table.
Bonomo was talking to PokerOrg while stacking up his chips on Day 2 of the $50K High Roller event in WSOP 2023. He was asked about the table draw to which the famously polyamorous pro said, “They’re all shit.” No one here knows anything. They have no clue how to play.” The PokerOrg reporter asked Bonomo how it works for him to play against players who aren’t that good. He reverted by saying, “It’s nice playing against a table full of amateurs.”
Well, that’s what the player with $61+ Million in total live earnings said and we are one bit surprised. Why not? For someone who sits on the numero uno spot can afford to have that opinion. But like we mentioned earlier, there’s a difference between being self-assured and arrogant, and Bonomo’s words put in the spectrum of being arrogant that too unapologetically.

Twitterati was having a day thanks to PokerOrg sharing that video of Bonomo on its Twitter handle. The users were quick to point out that the Fairfax-born pro was being a total douchebag and pointed out how he’s the most disliked player in the circuit. Make hay while the sun shines and Twitterati shone as bright as humanly possible.
